Yesterday was Park Seed’s Flower Day in Greenwood SC. This is where you have the opportunity to tour their gardens, take photos, listen to Joe Lamp’l from the DIY network (www.joegardener.com) talk about green gardening and then dream about having a garden just like Park Seed’s. You can even shop for plants at unbelievable prices. I purchased a butterfly bush that’s almost as tall as I am for only $10, what a deal! Good thing they don’t have Flower Day every weekend!

On the way home I stopped by Happy Cow Creamery http://www.happycowcreamery.com. Driving down the driveway, you see the happy cows and the moment you get out of the car you can smell you are on a farm. Happy Cow has jams, jellies, sauces, fruits, vegetables, milk, cheeses, eggs and more. I came home with chocolate milk (I hear it’s the best), cottage cheese and tomato basil cheddar cheese. Sounds yummy, doesn’t it (maybe not all together though)?
Keep your eyes out for Flower Day next year, it’s well worth the trip!

I’m so glad you enjoyed Flower Day, and it’s very kind of you to mention it here. It’s a lot of work to put together, but we all enjoy being outside and visiting with our customers all day. Sure hope your butterfly bush thrives for you! I’d love it if you would send me a picture for my blog when it blooms.
